India defeated Bangladesh by nine wickets in this match, demonstrating their supremacy.  Bangladesh, however, won the toss and decided to bat first.  We appreciate Navjot Sidhu’s outstanding batting (104 runs). Because of his outstanding effort, he was also named Man of the Match. 
  • 1994-1995 Pepsi Asia Cup 1st ODI Match- The game took place at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on April 5, 1995. India triumphed over Bangladesh by nine wickets once more. Bangladesh scored 163 runs in 44.4 overs and India scored 164 runs in 27.5 overs in this match.  The two teams played each other to the death.
  • 1997-1998 Silver Jubilee Independence Cup- On January 10, 1998, the first ODI match was played in Dhaka. Once more, India defeated Bangladesh by four wickets in this match.  India chose to bowl first after winning the toss in this match. It was in this match that Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar scored his first half-century (54 runs).  The Indian cricket team’s rising batsman, Mohammad Azharuddin* (84 runs), also made a half-century in the first ODI match between 1997 and 1998.
  • 1997-1998 Coca-Cola Triangular Series 5th ODI match- This game, which was also played at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, was dominated by India. In this match, India defeated their opponents by a margin of five wickets. Bangladesh chose to bat first after winning the toss in the next match. Bangladesh scored 115 runs in 36.3 overs, whereas the champions scored 116 runs in 29.2 overs.  For his outstanding performance, Anil Kumble, the Indian team’s rising bowler, was named Man of the Match.
  • 2000-2001 Bangladesh vs India 1st Test Match- The first test match between the two teams took place in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. India defeated Bangladesh by nine wickets once more.  Bangladesh, however, won the toss and decided to bat first.  Sunil Joshi (92 runs) and Sourav Ganguly (84 runs) worked together to help the Champions win the game. However, Bangladeshi batsman Aminul Islam also displayed his extraordinary abilities by hitting a century of 145 runs throughout the game.
  • 2002-2003 TVS Cup 1st ODI Match- The champions, India, dominated Bangladesh in this match as well and won by a commanding 200 runs. In this match, India chose to bat first after winning the toss. Yuvraj Singh’s outstanding effort earned him the title of Man of the Match in addition to his century of 102 runs.
  • 2004-2005 Bangladesh vs India- Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka (Dacca) hosted the first test match between the two countries on December 10, 2004. It is among the two countries’ most memorable and captivating games. India defeated Bangladesh by an innings and 140 runs, securing a significant victory. In this game, Sachin Tendulkar amassed 248 runs and scored a double century. Irfan Pathan received the Man of the Match title.
  • 2004-2005 Bangladesh vs India 2nd ODI Match- On December 26, 2004, at their city of Dhaka, Bangladesh staged a huge comeback by winning this match by a margin of 15 runs. Bangladesh won the toss in this game and decided to bat first. Because of his outstanding play, Bangladesh’s bowler Mashrafe Mortaza was named Man of the Match. 
  • 2006-2007 Bangladesh vs India 2nd Test Match- In cricket history, this match is among the greatest between the two teams. India clean-swept Bangladesh, winning by an innings and 235 runs. This encounter kindled a fire of great animosity between the two sides.  India scored 610/3 dec in this match, whereas Bangladesh scored 118 and 253 runs.
  • 2006-2007 ICC World Cup- On March 17, 2007, the eighth game took place at Queen’s Park Oval in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. Due to their dominance over India, Bangladesh won this match by a margin of five wickets. After winning the toss, Team India was invited to bat first.  Mashrafe Mortaza’s outstanding performance earned him the distinction of Man of the Match.
  • 2007-2008 Kitply Cup 3rd ODI Match- India defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets in this match, securing victory once more. On June 12, 2008, the game took place in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Bangladesh scored 222 runs in 49.5 overs, compared to 223 runs in 35.1 overs for India. With a century of 107 runs in the game, Gautam Gambhir’s outstanding effort earned him the distinction of Man of the Match.
  • 2009 ICC World Twenty20- On June 6, 2009, the two countries played their fourth Twenty20 International at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. One of the more intriguing games between the two clubs is this one. This match was won by India by 25 runs. Bangladesh won the toss, thus welcome to bowl first. The Indian team’s opening batsman, Gautam Gambhir, amassed a half-century of 50 runs during the tournament. The Man of the Match award went to Pragyan Ojha, a rising bowler for the Indian national side.

  • 2013-2014 Bangladesh vs India 2nd ODI Match- Using the D/L method, India won this match by 47 runs, demonstrating their dominance over Bangladesh once more. The advantage of batting in the first innings went to India. Due to his outstanding performance, Stuart Binny, a new bowler for the team, is named Man of the Match. 
  • 2016-2017 India vs Bangladesh 1st Test Match- On February 9, 2017, this intriguing game took place at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. India won the match by 208 runs because they were so strong against Bangladesh. You are welcome to bat first in this competition. India scored 159/4 and 687/6 in December. India won the match due to the performances of budding players Murali Vijay (108 runs), Virat Kohli* (204 runs), and Wriddhiman Saha † (106 runs) in the Champions team.
  • 2017 ICC Champions Trophy- India defeated Bangladesh in the second semi-final match of this competition, this time by a margin of nine wickets. Bangladesh put up a fierce fight, scoring 264 runs in 50 overs, while India scored 265 runs in 40.1 overs.  Because of his outstanding performance during the match, Rohit Sharma was named Man of the Match.
  • 2019-2020 India vs Bangladesh- India won the first test match by an innings and 130 runs on November 14, 2019, at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. But Bangladesh chose to bat first after winning the toss. The Indian team’s opening batsman, Mayank Aggarwal, received the Man of the Match after scoring 243 runs and a double century.
  • 2019 ICC World Cup- India defeated Bangladesh by 28 runs in this match, demonstrating their supremacy once more. After winning the toss and being allowed to bat first, India amassed 314 runs in 50 overs. In 48 overs, Bangladesh amassed 286 runs.
  • 2019-2020 India vs Bangladesh 1st T20I Match- The game took place at Arun Jaitley Stadium on November 3, 2019. Bangladesh won by seven wickets in this match, marking a significant turnaround. The Indian team’s new bowler, Nitish Reddy, was named Man of the Match for his outstanding performance. 
  • 2024-2025 India vs Bangladesh 3rd T20I Match- The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad hosted this game on October 12, 2024. India won the match by 133 runs because they were so dominant over Bangladesh. India chose to bat first after winning the toss. Suryakumar Yadav and Sanju Samson both contributed to India’s victory with half-centuries of 75 and 111 runs, respectively. Sanju Samson’s outstanding effort earned him the honor of Man of the Match.
