Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have arguably created one of the most well-known legacies in IPL history. The 2025 and 2026 editions flip the historical record drastically, as RCB rightfully comes away with consecutive IPL championships.

RCB’s Biggest IPL Wins

As far as RCB records go in the history of IPL, their biggest victory by runs is pretty damn special. May 14, 2016 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium: RCB won by 144 runs vs Gujarat Lions That is still the biggest victory by runs in the history of the franchise.

RCB’s explosive batting has always been the talk of the town, and so is reflected in their highest scores.

The highest IPL score for the franchise is 263/5, scored against Pune Warriors India at Bengaluru onApril 23, 2013. Chris Gayle scored an incredible 175 not out in a famously powerful innings.

Kohli is also the owner of RCB’s captaincy run tally. As the captain of RCB, he has accumulated 4,994 runs which is significantly more than any other player in that category. Faf du Plessis is second with 1,473 runs while Rajat Patidar has contributed 766 captaincy runs through 2026.

RCB’s Highest Individual Score

The highest individual score by an RCB batter is still one of the most memorable innings in IPL history.
